Classified (Civil Service) Positions

Classified vacancies are positions covered under the provisions of the Department of Civil Service of the State of Louisiana. Below is a listing of current vacancies.For more information on these positions, how to apply and about the State of Louisiana Department of Civil Service, go to DSCS website.

Applications will be accepted from any person who meets the qualifications listed for the job in which a person is interested. Certain jobs will require testing at Civil Service which must be completed before applying. Occasionally at the discretion of HRM, recently recruited applicant pools may be used to fill vacancies of the same title occurring in other departments.

Applicants may submit Civil Service applications (SF-10 form) in room 213 Administration Building 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday unless otherwise indicated.
