Directions for Posting a Departmental Job OpeningFaculty and Non-Classified Employees:Advertisements for faculty and non-classified employees must be placed on UNO's Advertising Template which can be found on SharePoint at https://sharepoint.uno.edu/forms/default.aspx. The advertisement must include a position inventory number (PI#). Salary information is optional; therefore, it may include the exact salary, list the salary range as stated on the SP2, or remain blank. Completed advertisements must be sent to EEO@uno.edu for approval. Upon approval, an email will be sent to the initiator. Approval must be obtained prior to advertising. Approved advertisements will be placed on the UNO HRM website under Employment Opportunities. Departments are responsible for placing the advertisement in any other media outlets required for EEO compliance. A copy of the advertisement and the e-mail approval must be included in the Permission to Hire Packet along with the EEO Compliance Form and UNO EEO Applicant Flow Log-Unclassified.
