Hiring Checklist for Intermittent Employees
Listed below are the forms required for hiring an Intermittent Employee. UNO-1B packets can be obtained from Human Resource Management, Administration Building, Room 213. Please return completed packets to HRM for processing.

Request To Fill Vacancy letter. Requests for the filling of any University position on an intermittent basis should be forwarded through routine approval channels but should be accompanied by a cover letter clearly stating why the position is needed. If the position is not funded through the general fund, you still need to request an exemption from the freeze, as well as indicate from what budget the position is funded in your request. Once approved by the appropriate Dean or Vice Chancellor, each requested position in academic departments should be forwarded to Academic Affairs for approval. All others should be forwarded to Dr. Bobby Dupont, Vice Chancellor for Strategic Planning and Budget for approval.
