Procedure for Obtaining HR Access in PeoplesoftImportant: Please review the HRM security policy before completing any of the following steps. Department Heads/Business Managers If you require any other type of security access to the HR/Payroll module, or have any questions, please call or email Human Resource Management. Department Heads/Business Managers This type of access will allow you to view HR data for employees in your department and in subordinate departments. The type of information displayed includes salary, title, important dates and salary budget information. If you are a department head, please send an email to Human Resource Management requesting access. If you are the Business Manager for your department, please have your department head send an email to Human Resource Management authorizing you to have this access. Please include in the email your Peoplesoft employee id. If you do not have a network id or you do not know your password, contact the University Computing and Communications’ Help Desk at (504) 280-6677. This type of access will allow you to enter time and leave information for employees in your department and subordinate departments. You must attend a short training session before access of this type will be granted. Contact Stacey Bell-Connerly in Human Resource Management (504-280-6558) to schedule a training session. Have the head of your department send an email to Human Resource Management authorizing you to be timekeeper for your department. Please include in the email your Peoplesoft employee id. If you do not have a network id or you do not know your password, contact the University Computing and Communications’ Help Desk at (504) 280-6677. Existing Timekeepers Who Have Moved to a New Department Have the head of your new department send an email to Human Resource Management authorizing you to be timekeeper for the department.
